Some 6 years ago, my arthritic left hip got so unbearably painful that it became clear that SOME sort of medical intervention was required – as my wife remarked: “You’re not managing the pain anymore, it’s managing YOU!!” Found Dr Tauchen in my insurance provider list, and liked him immediately upon meeting him; youthful, enthusiastic and assured! We went with him for my left hip replacement, which went very smoothly, and the follow on care was exceptional! I was blessed with a rapid and effective recovery, due in large part to Dr Tauchen’s surgical skills and procedures! All of that said, you can see why we chose him for my RIGHT hip replacement! Once I’d started experiencing the same kind of painful warning signs, we knew it was time to go back to him… Once again, a fine and rapid recovery, and this time around, the ongoing post-op text messages, including exercises as well as incredibly helpful and encouraging content, were SO useful and uplifting! Dr Tauchen’s team is excellent. I had a partial knee replacement and it was the smoothiest pre and post op and surgery I have every had. And when I thought my incision was infected, all I had to do was send a picture by email and was scheduled the next day to have it checked out. If I could give 10 stars I would.
